Following the defection of Serving Member representing Michika constituency at the Adamawa state House of Assembly, Hon. Joseph Ayuba Kwada (Depolis) from People Democratic Party (PDP) to the opposition All Progressives Congress (APC).
House of Assembly Correspondent Mohammed Bello Liman Report that the supporters of Joseph Ayuba Kwada from Michika gathered in the entrance of the House of Assembly holding cads with different write-up indicating their support and chanting that they agree with the decision of their member by defecting to APC.
It could be recall that the member was elected under the platform of the ruling PDP during 2019 general election and decided to cross carpet to APC due to what he described as injustice by his former party.
He announced his defection to APC at Civic Center in Michika LGA, on Saturday, Hon. Ayuba Kwada, said that he is happy to have returned to his former house, saying that he is now a full-fledged member of APC.
Some of the Members of the Assembly who graced the event include Hon. Isa Yahaya(Maiha), Hon. Abdullahi Ahmadu(Leko Koma), Hon. Alhassan Hammanjoda(Ganye), Hon. Abdullahi Umar Nyako(Toungo), Hon. Shuaibu Dan Musa(Mubi North), Hon. Shuaibu Babas(Fufore Gurin), Hon Abubakar Isa(Shelleng).
