Adamawa CAN Provides Financial Aid to Victims of Yola Market Fire

The Chairman Christian Association of Nigeria, Adamawa State chapter has called on the victims of fire incident at Yola South Market to cooperate with the committee set up by the Government to rebuild the market.

Reverend Dr. Joel Danjuma Manzo gave the encouragement during his visit to the market to commiserate with the victims over the incident.

The Adamawa State CAN Chairman at his visit to the market donated the sum of two hundred and fifty thousand naira to traders, saying the market belongs to everyone devoid of religion or tribes.

He also prayed for the traders for God to make ways of replenishing their losses.

For this, Reverend Danjuma Manzo encouraged the traders to cooperate with the Adamawa State Government on the committee set-up to remodel the market to avert future incidents.

Speaking, the chairman Gamzaki Traders Association, Mallam Ali Kashala and that of Rana Tafito traders Association Ya,uba Usman thanked the leadership of Christian Association of Nigeria in Adamawa State for their sympathy.

They also prayed for God to continue to keep ones among the two faithful for the growth and development of Adamawa State.

The Chairman Christian Association of Nigeria in Adamawa State was accompanied by State executives to the market on commiseration.
