CAN Adamawa state chapter distributes palliative

The Chairman Christian Association of Nigeria and Catholic Bishop of Yola Diocese Most Reverend Stephen Dami Mamza has shared one thousand five hundred of 10kg and three hundred 50kg of Rice as palliative to five blogs that made up Christian’s Association Body in Adamawa State.

The Paliative was the gesture received from the Federal Government through States as part of measures to cushion the effect of the fuel subsidy removal in the country.

The Items were shared to CSN, CCN, TEKAN-ECWA and OIC as well as CPFN/PFN, the five blogs that made up the Christian Association of Nigeria in Adamawa State.

While flagged off the distribution of the Paliative, the Adamawa State Chairman of Christian Association of Nigeria who Doubled as the Catholic Bishop of Yola Diocese Most Reverend Stephen Dami Mamza thanked the distribution committee established by Adamawa State Government for the successful Job.

The Bishop, also added by supporting the beneficiaries who are vulnerable individuals with the transport of One thousand naira each after receiving the items to their various destinations.

Bishop Stephen Dami Mamza therefore called on the Paliative distribution committee at various level to ensure the 50kg and 10kg of Rice delivered to the target beneficiaries.
Beneficiaries on their part commended the Bishop Stephen Dami Mamza and Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for the gesture, noted that the items would go along way to reduce the hardship posed by the removal of fuel subsidy in the country.

Meanwhile, the Press crew supervised various locations designated by the five blogs of the Christian Association of Nigeria for the distribution of palliative in Adamawa State.
