Fintiri,Pateh,Boss Others Hails Dr. Edgar Amos @60

Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, extended warm greetings and congratulations to his Chief of Staff, Dr. Edgar Amos Sunday, on the occasion of his 60th birthday and his recent retirement from civil service.

While Governor Fintiri was the special guest of honor at the celebration held in the government house’s banquet hall in Yola, he was represented by his deputy, Professor Kaletapwa George Farauta.

Governor Fintiri praised Dr. Sunday for his dedication and consistent success in meeting objectives, noting his significant contributions both in his civil service role and now in the executive branch of government. He acknowledged Dr. Sunday as an integral part of the team steering the affairs of the state.

The governor also offered his best wishes on behalf of the state’s government and citizens, praying for continued success and divine guidance as Dr. Sunday entered a new decade of life.

Boss Mustafa, chairman of the occasion and former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, lauded Dr. Sunday as diligent and reliable, urging him to continue his impactful work.

The event featured goodwill messages from notable figures including former Head of Service Dr. Louis Mandama, current Head of Service Pharmacist Isa Shehu Ardo, and the NLC chairman of Adamawa State, Emmanuel Fashe. All speakers highlighted Dr. Sunday’s discipline, straightforwardness, and objective approach to responsibilities.

A highlight of the event was a public lecture titled “Identity, Diversity and Solidarity: Case for a National Praxis,” delivered by Professor Umar Pate, Vice Chancellor of the Federal University Kashere, who emphasized the importance of unity and tolerance for national development.

The event was attended by a host of dignitaries, family, friends, and well-wishers from various sectors, celebrating this significant milestone in Dr. Sunday’s life.
