Keke Riders in Mubi South and North Local Government Areas of Adamawa State, have expressed their concern over the increase in the price of Premium Motor Spirit also known as PMS, which they said is seriously affecting their business.
The Keke Riders disclosed this in an interview with Nas FM News.
Some keke riders lamenting over the current hardship occasioned by the increase in the prices of fuel which is related to the removal of fuel subsidy and naira devaluation by the current administration of President Bola Tinubu.
On the other side, a passenger who did not want his name mentioned, hinted that before they used to get Keke without wasting much time, but now due to the current narratives they are suffering before reaching their workplace, linking it directly to the fact that some riders have parked their KeKe-Napep.
The Riders and Passengers, therefore, appealed to the government to create an enabling environment for businesses to thrive and also reduce and control the prices of fuel and commodities to ease the hardship bedeviling citizens.
