Couples are encouraged to sanctify marriages and maintain kinship through honesty,tolerance, and understanding.
Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri gave the encouragement when he attended the wedding prayers that took place at Aggah Islamic Centre, Yola.
The governor intimates young couples to understand the depth of responsibility and weight of accountability in joining marital ties.
Fintiri equally reminded the couples of the day that marriage,above love, is an act of ibadah. Thus,each should be ready to account for their dealings in matrimonial life.
On behalf of the grooms,Ahmad Isah Wakilamtu appreciated the presence of the governor while assuring to use the words of advice.
Ahmad expressed immeasurable joy for marrying who he described as friend, lover and playmate.
