Gov Fintiri’s Second Tenure Is Actualization of Progress Roadmap For Adamawa-Ijabani

Adamawa government is set to roll out a Conditional Cash Transfer of ten thousand naira to youth and aged persons in the society through Poverty Alleviation and Wealth Creation Agency.

The Senior Special Assistant to Governor Fintiri on Content Creation, Ijabani Ijahu, made the remark when he appeared on Safiya Breakfast Show on Gotel TV.

The SSA on Content Creation, who said that the state government has last year distributed food items to cushion the hardship occasioned by fuel subsidy removal, drew the attention

of the public over the continuation of payment of the ten thousand naira palliative to civil servants in Adamawa.

He recalled that Fintiri’s government has inaugurated a State working committee for the National Agricultural Growth Scheme and Agro-Pocket Programme that will work with Adamawa State Agribusiness Support Programme ADAS-P to provide seeds and farming utensils to dry season farmers in order to ensure food security in the state.

According to him, the government will, in less than ninety days, commission a Mega Laboratory Centre that will cover the majority of health examinations citizens go for, outside the state.

On housing intervention, Ijabani Ijahu explained that the government plans to build two thousand houses to be subsidies for citizens, with 1000 in near completion at Malkohi, while plans to build the remaining on the way.

He also said the houses are not for civil servants alone, but for all the citizens of the state, who may show interest in the houses.

Ijabani cited the approval for contractors to resume the site for the construction of a modern stadium, the establishment of a Non-stop operational modern market as well as the release of 3 billion Naira last month to clear pensioners’ gratuity and arrears by Governor Fintiri as indications of the present administration’s commitment to developing the state.
