The Commissioner Public Complain Commission FCT,Mr. Dalhatu Ezekiel emphasized the need for relevant government agencies to do their work in ensuring the current economic challenges are curtailed in the country.
Mr Dalhatu criticized the government agencies when he appeared on AIT Televison programme monitored by Nas FM, according to him Consumer Protection Board and Federal Pricing Regulatory Board are backed by the constitution and should tighten their belt to deliver in their responsibilities.
He laso said his office function as feedback mechanism to government and such the feedback is not palatable.
The Public Complaint Commissioner insisted that it’s uncalled for the attitude of pegging commodity prices at will by individuals.
He confirmed writing to the agencies concern and urge Nigerians to hold them accountable if they failed to regulate prices and protect the consumers.
