The vice Chancillor of the Modibbo Adama University Yola Professor Abdullahi Liman Tukur has described Proffessor Muhammed Eneji Ibrahim as icon which the university is grateful for his contributions especially in the academic excellence.
Professor Tukur was speaking during the 28th inaugural lecture of Modibbo Adama University held at the multi purpose hall of the university.
During the event which took place at the multipurpose hall of the institution,Professor of metallurgical Engineering Muhammed Eneji Ibrahim of the university delivered lecture on the theme: “Resource Saving Technology: Imperative for global competitiveness in the iron and steel industry”.
In a welcome address, the Vice Chancellor of the university, Professor Abdullahi Liman Tukur Described Prof. Eneji Ibrahim as a role model to many young engineers and acknowledged his contributions in the university.
In his presentation,Professor Muhammed Eneji Ibrahim explains parameters to address challenges through iron and steel manufacturing which he opined that if properly harness will improve the economic growth of Nigeria.
Chairman lectures and Awards prize committee, prof.Abraham OKolo said for years now,the university has been recognizing the efforts of individuals who have contributed emensly to the success of the school hence the reason why prof. Eneji Ibrahim was also recognized.
Highlight of the occasion was the award presentation to the inaugural lecturer for appreciation.
