Alhaji Lawan in a statement he personally signed and made available to Newsmen in Yola, Tuesday evening described the appointment and approval of Ptil Madagali by Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri as well as deserved.
It could be recalled that Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, recently announced the creation of seven chiefdoms comprising second class and third class to cover the ungoverned spaces in Adamawa State.
But reacting, ahead of preparations for escorting the Ptil Madagali to his palace in Gulak Wednesday, Alhaji Lawan Abubakar Umar described it as a Wellcome development.
The traditional ruler who doubles as the Chairman parents teachers association in Adamawa State, is optimistic that the Ptil Madagali, Dr Ali Danburam would lead by example going by his examplary leadership in various capacities before his present appointment.
Alhaji Lawan Abubakar also congratulated the good people of Madagali for having the monarch to lead them in that capacity of leading thousands of people.
Speaking on his position as the acting district head of Kirchinga, Alhaji Lawan Abubakar Umar pledged collaboration with the Ptil Madagali to succeed and also offered a vital leadership to their subjects.
He then called for support from all unsandry of Madagali chiefdom and Adamawa State to support the traditional rulers and also support the administration of RT Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, the executive Governor of Adamawa State as he meant well for the generality of the people of the State.
Alhaji Lawan concluded by commending the Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for his wisdom of quality representation to create Chiefdoms and cover the ungoverned spaces across the areas in need in Adamawa State.
