The Executive Chairman of Numan local government area, Hon. Innocent Koto has felicitated with Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri on marking of this year’s Ramadan Fast, describing him as a Peace Maker.
The Council Chairman also felicitates with Muslims in Numan, Adamawa and across the World on observing the sacred month of Ramadan.
In a statement he send to Newsmen in Yola, Hon. Innocent Koto described the Holy Month of Ramadan as a period that the entire Muslims will go without food from sunrise to sunset throughout thirty days.
While congratulating Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State for observing the fast, the Numan Council Chairman described him as a man that loves peace and development in Adamawa State.
Hon. Innocent Koto also noted that Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has changed every aspect of Adamawa on developmental drive, noted it’s a signed of sacrifice and love he have for the people of Adamawa State.
He prayed for God to answer, the Governor’s prayers and supplications to enable him finished well in piloting the affairs of Adamawa State.
“Over the years Adamawa People have been clamouring for a good leader like Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, but this time around God has answered us as he emerged on board” Hon. Innocent Koto said.
“So what’s expected of us both Muslims and Christians, Pegans, traditionalists is to used our places of worship to pray for the success and support to the government at all times for development”
” I want to also use this medium to congratulate the ALGON Chairman Suleiman Gangkuba for commencing the fast in the month of Ramadan. Innocent Koto stated”
He concluded by assuring the people of Numan peace and development inline with Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri’s administration to ensure peaceful coexistence in Adamawa State, calling on the citizens of both Numan and Adamawa State to give government and security operatives support to achieve the goal.
