For a long period of time Lack of sufficient drugs has been one of the major challenges in KONKOL community, Maiha local government, especially when the facility admitted patients without sufficient and proper medications, leading to the death or downfall of patients in the facility.
The in charge of the primary health care facility in the community, Malam Ahmadu Mai sulei, says their major problem in the facility, is lack of sufficient drugs, which makes it difficult for them to treat people of their various ailments in the hospital.
Mai Sulei, who said they normally buy little drugs in case of emergency purposes, equally explained that lack of sufficient funds in the primary health care, has really affected their day to day activities.
He added that they may have so many patients with various ailments, but most of them may leave the facility due to insufficient drugs to cure their ailments.
Malam Ahmadu Mai Sulei, further called on the government to come to their aid by providing the facility with sufficient drugs, in order to render health care services to the people of KONKOL, a community in Maiha LGA of Adamawa State
