The Adamawa State join negotiation service council has congratulated the state governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri over his recent victory at the Court of Appeal in Abuja in a case challenging his emergence as governor in the February 18th governorship election.
In a statement signed by the state chairman Nigeria Labour Congress, Dr. Bathlomeo Nyalas described the victory of the governor as a victory for the entire electorate of Adamawa State especially civil servants who have come out in their majority number to vote for the governor whom they believe is working towards the development of the state.
The union used the opportunity to appeal to the governor not to relent in his efforts towards providing basic amenities of life to the people of the state
Dr. Nyalas said the victory of the governor is coming at time when remuneration of workers is about to be reviewed upward believing that the civil service friendly governor will not hesitate to approve and implement it when the time comes.
The statement assured the governor of labour’s continues support and cooperation in his developmental endeavors for state.
