Adamawa state Governor directs work to resume at Jimeta Ultra Modern stadium

Adamawa state Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri directs work resumption of constructing a modern equipped stadium in the state to address the lingering challenge of sports platforms, especially to potential youths to excel in sport and make Adamawa proud.

The governor through Adamawa state commissioner of Youth and Sport Barr. Wali Yakubu had carried out on spot assessment Visit to Jimeta Ultra Modern stadium. The stadium project, initiated back in 1982, has remained unfinished for many years which the Fintiri administration deemed it necessary to provide the opportunity of practicing ground to the numerous potential sport men and women of Adamawa, in order to compete and excel in the field.

the entourage led by Youths and Sport commissioner of Adamawa state,Barr. Wali Yakubu had other government officials; Commissioner for Housing and Urban Development, Hon. Abdullahi Prambe, Hon. Joab H. Sahma, Commissioner of Land Survey others include the State Surveyor General, as well as permanent secretaries and directors from relevant ministries.

The assessment was a swift 24-hour timeframe, with the report result already forwarded. Hence,Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri will emphasize on the urgency and need to resolving these critical matter to make the Jimeta Ultra modern stadium operational.
