Adamawa Gov’t to shutdown Hotels lacking CCTV in 6 weeks.

Adamawa government issue Six weeks ultimatum to Hotel Managements in the state to install CCTV Survellance Camera or face closure.

This comes on the heels of the recent Killing of a woman In one of the hotel In Yola.

Deputy Governor Prof. Kaletapwa G Farauta issue the ultimatum on behalf of Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri at Government house Yola.

Fintiri said the act was inhumane, therefore cautioned hotel owners to guarantee safety of patronozers

Insisting that hence negligence and insecurity in the hotels will not be tolerated.

The Chief of Staff, Government House, Yola Dr Edgar Amos had earlier announced setting up committee to investigate into the scenario.

In his remark Chairman Hotel Management Adamawa state Chief Samuel Aduata applauds the state government commitment to the concerns of the public and assured compliance.

Police Public Relations Officer Adamawa State Police Command,SP Sulaiman Nguroje had while assuring the force commitment to safeguarding Adamawa citizenry, called on them to provide prompt information to the police.
