150 youths in Adamawa train on ICT by State Government in collaboration with NCC.

The Adamawa State government reveals working towards transforming the state from its current economic status to a digitally driven society for socio economic benefits of the state.

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri disclosed this at the opening of a two days training of 150 youths on digital skills organized in collaboration with the Nigerian communication commission at duragi hotel Yola

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri represented by the secretary to the state government Barr. Awwal Tukur said government recognizes the global technological advancements and is actively planning to enhance Adamawa by introducing diverse digital skills for the youth.

Speaking earlier, the executive vice chairman of Nigerian communication commission Dr.Aminu Maida represented by the director human capital and administration of the commission Barr. Usman Mala said the impactful workshop is beneficial to all recipients and communities in Adamawa, underscores the government’s dedication to involving youth in business for a brighter future.

Experts and stakeholders elucidated diverse digital skills that participants should continue to utilize post-training, in order to contribute significantly to the creation of more job opportunities in the market space.

Highlights of the event includes presentations from the commissioner of information and strategy Neido Geoffrey kofulto and entrepreneurship Development James Iliya among others.

The 150 participants are selected from across the 21 local government areas of the state
