Nigerians continue to react to the relocation of key government offices from nation’s capital Abuja to Lagos.
A scholar, Dr. Abubakar Sambo, Political Science department Federal University Kashere when he featured in Nas FM discussant program “Turmin Danya” cited sentiment as the rational behind the move while also blaming the masses for voting incompetent and selfish representatives.
Dr. Sambo also called on northern Governors to focus on processing industries in order to fully benefit from agricultural inputs and mineral resources in their region saying, it’s illogical that the present administration appointed inexperience minister with no inclination to handle Ministry of Natural resources.
He further challenged the present administration to ensure they excute reputable projects in the north as former president Muhammadu Buhari provided Lagos-Ibadan Train station in the west and Second Niger Bridge in the east.

It could be recalled that Arewa Consultative Forum had ealier rejected Federal government announcement of moving key government offices from Abuja to Lagos.
