Residents of kwadankin a village in Maiha Local Government Area of Adamawa State, have appealed to the government at all levels to come to their aid, by providing their area with social amenities.
The residents made the appeal while speaking to NAS FM NEWS.
Residents of the community particularly herders rearing animals like cows, sheep, goat chicken and camels, have been playing significant role in providing meat, Milk, Hide, oil and eggs to the people of the village, Maiha, Mubi north and south LGAs of the State.
The herders are in need of a comfortable place to stay with their families and animals to effectively carry out their day to day activities.
Leader of the Headers at kwadankin, Malam Muhammad Bello Dan Fari, appealed to the Government and other stackholders to assist them with places to stay with their animals.
Another herder, Aliyu Abubakar Auta, also cried on the lack of schools where their wards can acquire Western education.
They further called on traditional title holders to caution farmers to stop bush burning to enable them to feed their animals without any hindrance.
