Member representing Guyuk constituency at the Adamawa State House of Assembly, Mr. Sunday Peter has sponsored one-hundred and fifty candidates to write the 2024 Joint Admission and Matriculations Board Examination in his constituency.
The candidates were selected from various Secondary Schools across Guyuk local government area.
Mr Sunday Peter said the initiative followed consultation with the All Progressives Congress stakeholders in Guyuk constituency to continue with the programme in his second tenure in office.
The programme was under the Sunday Peter Education Support initiative to support vulnerable students in various communities across Guyuk constituency.
The lawmaker had while addressing the students tasked them to be worthy ambassadors in the respective communities, pledging to continue supporting them to further their studies.
Speaking, the supervisor of Sunday Peter Education Support initiative, Mrs. Cecilia Daniel Gajah commended the lawmaker for the giant stride in educational Development.
Some of the candidates undergoing computer training to participate in the examination commended Mr. Sunday Peter with a promise to do their best during the exercise.
The Member representing Guyuk constituency also took time and interacted with the students at various training centres to see their computer literacy ahead of this year’s JAMB.
