In the spirit of Ramadan, the non-governmental organization Sisters of Jannah (SOJ) has distributed essential food items to vulnerable residents of Anguwan Kilba in Vunoklang, Girei Local Government Area of Adamawa State. This initiative aims to alleviate hardship among the needy during the holy month.
Samira Dahiru, the Public Relations Officer of SOJ, emphasized the organization’s dedication to supporting the less privileged, including orphans and widows, through various humanitarian activities. She stated that such efforts are continuous, aligning with Islamic teachings that highlight the importance of assisting and feeding the poor.
The beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to the organization for the timely assistance, acknowledging the positive impact on their lives during this sacred period.
Sisters of Jannah has a history of philanthropic endeavors across Nigeria. In previous years, the Adamawa zone of SOJ successfully executed Ramadan care initiatives, reflecting their commitment to humanitarian services.
