In Michika:Governor Fintiri Reaffirms Commitment to Women and Youth Development

Adamawa State Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri emphasized his administration’s dedication to fostering the development of women and youth in the state.He disclosed this during a visit to Michika local government area after Christmas celebrations in Gulak.

Governor Fintiri highlighted the crucial role of youth in the state’s progress, expressing the state government’s commitment to preparing them for active involvement. He announced plans to employ qualified youths, providing them with necessary tools for success, while also empowering women through capital support for self-establishment.

While emphasizing the importance of avoiding negative influences, the governor cautioned youths against keeping bad company, which could hinder their future achievements. He urged continued support for security forces, ensuring peace and improvement in the region’s security situation.

Governor Fintiri assured the youth and women that 2024 would be a year of opportunities, promising employment and empowerment. He stressed the need for fairness in the processes, calling on the people, especially in Michika and Madagali, to unite for the benefits of democracy.

Acknowledging the governor’s efforts, representatives from Michika/Madagali federal constituency,Zachariah Dauda Yampa and the state house of assembly Michika Moses Ayuba commended Governor Fintiri.

The commissioner for commerce and industries,Ishaya Dabari expressed gratitude for the appointments from the region, pledging their expertise for the state’s development.

In his homecoming visit, Governor Fintiri was hailed by Michika locals for his inclusive leadership style. The governor thanked them for their support, promising to build upon the achievements already made.

On his journey back from Gulak, Governor Fintiri also visited prominent figures in Bazza, including the Adamawa CAN Chairman,Most Reverend,Dami Mamza and offered condolences to the family of Hildi district over the demise of Alh. Yusuf Sa’i Adamawa, Hakimin Hildi and the president of EYN Headquarters KWARHI, Reverend Joel Bile.
