Adamawa State Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri was on oversight assessment of the Gulak Cottage Hospital to inspect the newly constructed 60-bed capacity ward and Staff Quarters
Fintiri suggested ecosystem friendly landscaping and proper maitainance of the projects.
The buildings are part of the ongoing overhaul of the Gulak Cottage Hospital and are expected to address challenges of manpower shortage as well as provide standard health services to the people.
The governor also frowned at people encroaching hospital lands, saying all unlawful buildings would be confiscated.
Similarly, Governor Fintiri visits the government lodge that’s almost in completion.
He expressed satisfaction with the projects. The Government Lodge Gulak will ease accommodation for government officials while on assignments in Madagali and other neighbouring local government.
