Adamawa state government expressed continuous commitment to supporting technological initiatives by youth geared towards exploring economial advancement in the sector.
The state governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, made the pronouncement dring the wedding Fatiha of Muhammad Auwal Hamza Madagali which took place at Agga Islamic Centre Mosque.
According to Fintiri, the state is well aware of the economic significance of the sector, hence the strategic effort by the state government to fund scholarships for youth with potential interests in ICT and artificial intelligence.
He advised the groom and youths in general to be thoughtful in their actions and decisions and make account in contributing to progressive and peaceful society.
Governor Fintiri also urged traditional institutions to key in to government efforts in identifying solutions to challenges of the youths especially in their respective domains.
The governor also draws their attentions to uncertainty of life, citing Late Amina Sa’ad Abubakar who until her death was the Chief Protocol to Adamawa state firstlady at the government house,as an example to lived imapctful life and pray peace for the deaths.
Father of the groom,Alh Hamza Bello Madagali,the state organising secretary of People’s Democratic Party PDP expressed gratitude to all hands that made the moment possible.
He added that the youth can choose to make their lives better by obedience to parents, rule of law and hard work, and wished journey mercy to those who graced the event.
