Gov Fintiri Strengthens Ties with Federal Institutions, Praises College for NICEGA Selection

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa has reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to partnering with federal institutions within the state to benefit the students, who are predominantly its citizens.

The Governor made this statement during a courtesy visit by the management of the Federal College of Education Yola to his office on Wednesday.

Fintiri assured that the government would continue to support the institution, emphasizing the longstanding collaboration and partnership between the state government and the college.

The Governor also congratulated the college on being selected to host the Nigeria College of Education Games Association (NICEGA) and for its upcoming golden anniversary celebration.

In response, the College’s Deputy Provost, Hajiya Aisha Kadiri, expressed gratitude for the continuous support from the state government, highlighting the importance of the ongoing synergy.

She also informed the Governor of the management’s plans to demolish and remodel the corner shops along the college’s perimeter fence, aligning with the government’s efforts to enhance the state’s aesthetics.
