Analyst: Enhanced and Systemic methods should be adopted in distributing palliative

 

Analysts have stressed the need to use enhanced and systemic method in distributing the Federal Government’s palliatives sent to Adamawa State.

Discussants on NAS FM Mubi’s programme, Day Break Nigeria, Mr. Abraham Papka Donatus of the Adamawa University, Mubi and Comrade Bashir Ma’aji Adamu of the Federal Polytechnic, Mubi made the call on Thursday.

The guests expressed dismay with the manner the palliatives were shared in other states.

The academics demanded that the committee must adopt monitoring and evaluation techniques to ensure that the palliatives reach the vulnerable citizens in the society.

According to them, Adamawa State Government has to start the distribution earlier than expected in order to ameliorate the sufferings the citizens are undergoing.

Also contributing, callers on the Programme, suggested the need to establish distribution committees at the local governments’ level.
