Adamawa state Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri recently signed the approval for the creation of identical components in order to digitalize and mordernize government processes for more efficiency,transparency to make Adamawa a capable state of technological innovations.
This was disclosed during a one day interactive session on Adamawa state government ICT working group held at Admiral Murtala Nyako training centre,state secretariat, Yola.
The idea of the workshop is to devise the means to accommodate the dynamism of information communication technology for successful government operations.
In his welcome remark, Permanent Secretary Ibrahim Buba emphasised state government commitment to develop the idea.
While charging the participants to benefit from the workshop, secretary to Adamawa state government, Auwal Tukur revealed the mandate by the senate and effort by the state government to revolutionise ict.
The SSG equally encouraged the participants to align with the state government in readiness to prioritise innovation technology.
Executive Chairperson Adamawa state planning Committee Dr. Mary Paninga narrates the improvement in ict and commended Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for prompt interest to digitalize Adamawa state.
At the workshop,Special Assistant to Governor Fintiri on ICT,Strategy, and Policy Dr. Hammanjam Ahmed Adamu explain the components of the workshop which include;Adamawa 2.0 a roadmap to digital transformation and E-governance,email use policy,Adamawa state government website and data monitoring policy and Nigerian data protection compliance process.
Participants were drawn from various Ministries Departments and Agencies in Adamawa state.
