Speaker, Adamawa State House of Assembly, Bathiya Wesley was among the dignitaries that attended the celebration of the thirty year anniversary of the District Head of Hong, Alhaji Umar Mahmoud, the Danmalikin Adamawa in Hong local government area.
In his message, the Speaker, commended the district head for his significant role in peace building and development, calling on the people of Hong to be united and supportive to the leaders at all levels.
The Lamido Adamawa Alhaji Dr. Muhammadu Barkindo Aliyu Ustapha represented by Mustapha Aliyu Barkindo, the Kauran Adamawa congratulated the District for marking anniversary.
In his Goodwill message, the former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Barrister Boss Gida Mustapha thanked Lamido Adamawa for the recognition to Kilba nation in gracing the three decades anniversary and also the creation of five districts.
Also Hajiya Fati Abubakar Sa’ad echoed the speeches of Dr. Idi Hong and the Wali Adamawa for Development and peaceful coexistence, described the reign of the District Head within the period of thirty years as impactful in all areas.
In his response, the District Head of Hong, Alhaji Umar Mahmoud, the Khadimul Qur’an and Danmalikin Adamawa,who is the celebrant, thanked Lamido Adamawa, Dr. Muhammadu Barkindo Aliyu Mustapha for his concern to the Kilba People.
Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, represented by the commissioner for Education and Human Capital Development, Dr. Garba Umar Pella, commended the People of Hong for their support to his administration.
The Governor also congratulated the monarch for the 30th anniversary on the throne for managing his people within the period, encouraging the entire People of Kilba to embrace Development and Peaceful coexistence.
