Residents of Toungo have commended Adamawa state government for the provision of power supply in the area.
The residents made the commendation in an interview with NAS FM News in Toungo on Saturday.
Hamman Jabbo Adamu and Usman Bello said the uninterrupted electricity is helping the community.
On his part, the Executive Chairman, Toungo Local Government Area, Suleiman Ahmed Gankuba, said the present government must be commended for providing them with dividend of democracy.
He pleaded with the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC to extend the voter registration exercise.
On trial census in the community, Kefas Kelvin, who is the former chairman of the Local Government, said measures have been taken to ensure that the exercise is done as expected.
He, therefore, urged people to obtain their PVCs in order to elect leaders who have them at heart.
