The Peoples Democratic Party Governors’ Forum (PDP-GF), led by Chairman Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed (CON), Governor of Bauchi State, proudly celebrates with R Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, Governor of Adamawa State, on the inauguration of the Jimeta Grade Interchange in Yola, known as the Adamawa Unity Bridge.
The Forum is honored by the presence of elder statesman, former President Olusegun Obasanjo GCFR, who officially inaugurated this landmark infrastructure.
The Adamawa Unity Bridge features an underground pass, an overpass, and CCTV cameras for enhanced monitoring and security, in addition to roads that connect multiple streets to facilitate intra-state transportation.
Construction of the project commenced on August 30, 2020, and was completed and commissioned on May 29, 2024.
The Adamawa Unity Bridge is set to significantly improve transportation and connectivity within Yola, serving as a vital link for commuters and enhancing urban infrastructure.
The Forum commends Governor Fintiri’s dedication to infrastructure development, his commitment to advancing urban and semi-urban areas, and his efforts to create a more aesthetically pleasing environment that enhances the comfort and convenience of residents and investors.
The forum extends best wishes to Governor Fintiri, his cabinet, and the people of Adamawa State, both at home and abroad, as they continue to benefit from the dividends of good governance.
