Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State warmly received a delegation of PDP executives from the state’s 226 wards at the Government House, Yola.
The delegation, a formidable representation of the party’s strength, included local government chairmen, women, and youth leaders, all led by the State Party Chairman, Barrister A.T. Shehu.
They came together to demonstrate their solidarity and appreciation for the governor’s steady hand in leadership, which has been a guiding light for the party.
During the meeting, the delegates showered Governor Fintiri with praise, particularly lauding his impressive role in steering the PDP’s successful campaign during the Edo State elections—a testament to his leadership prowess not only within Adamawa but across the nation.
Governor Fintiri, in his response, expressed profound gratitude for the unwavering support of the party faithful.
He commended the PDP for keeping the flames of unity burning brightly across Adamawa, a feat that has translated into consistent electoral victories.
Taking a swipe at the opposition, the governor criticized their lackluster approach to democracy, likening it to a house built on sand, destined to falter.
He also reaffirmed his unyielding commitment to the people of Adamawa, promising that his administration will continue to deliver the dividends of democracy.
