National Union of Adamawa State Students described network failure as main challenge makes a dailies to some students to receive their scholarship release by the state government.

In a recent press statement issued by Mas’ud Aliyu Maidala, the Secretary General of the Union in Yola, revealed that the disbursement of local scholarships is currently underway. However, challenges stemming from network failures across the African continent have hindered the process.

Despite the setbacks, progress is being made diligently, with applications in the third category out of ten currently being processed.

Maidala assured that once applications are successfully processed, funds will be disbursed accordingly.

An additional concern highlighted in the statement is the difficulty some students face in receiving their funds due to the use of wallet/Microfinance accounts. To address this issue, a list of affected candidates will be provided, with a call for them to either visit the NUASS secretariat or reach out to the complaint committee for resolution.

Maidala extended gratitude to Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for his steadfast commitment to ensuring timely scholarship disbursements.

He also commended the dedication and efforts of the entire staff of the scholarship board.

The statement concluded with appreciation for the patience and understanding exhibited by all stakeholders during this challenging process.
