The Area Commander, National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, Mubi area command Hassan Sani Hassan, has revealed that over 200 suspects have been arrested in one year across Mubi North, Mubi South and Maiha Local Government Area of Adamawa State
He made this known during an exclusive interview with NASFM NEWS.
The Mubi Area commander, Hassan Sani Hassan, said the agency has recorded huge success in terms of drug seizure and arrest.
He stated that those arrested include 214 males ranging from the ages of 18-33 and 33 females aged between 16-28 years.
The area commander added that as of February 2024, 21 persons have been convicted by the law court while 28 suspects await trial.
He called on dealers and users to shun the henios act because according to him drugs ends all dreams.
While narrating the success being recorded, he said the major challenge the Area Command which covers three local government is inadequate logistics with only one patrol car and few arms and ammunitions.
