NDLEA Adamawa Command Paraded suspects with illicit substances

The National Drugs Law Enforcement Agency, Adamawa command has arrested fifty-five male suspects with over two-hundred fifty-eight kilograms of illicit substance in the State.

The commandant Mr. Agboala Femi Samson disclosed this during a media briefing in Yola the State capital as part combine operatives of the security formation.

That was Commandant National Drugs Law Enforcement Agency in Adamawa State parading illicit substance arrested by the suspects during combine security operatives in the three senatorial districts.

According to the commandant, this was sequel to the security council meeting held with the Adamawa State Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri on the display of illicit substances to include cannabis Sativa especially in Ngurore market and other places.

Commandant Agboala Femi Samson, said the operation were carried out in all the three senatorial districts in Adamawa State that led to the arrest of fifty-five suspects and 258.469 kilograms in Adamawa State.

The NDLEA commandant in the media briefing mentioned Ngurore Market, Tashan Tipper, Gindin Tsamiya Vunoklang, Mayanka and Labondo as some of the locations where the arrests made possible.

The commandant also promised that the dealers of illicit substances arrested would be prosecuted on their various offences.

While declaring commitment to rid the state of drugs, the commandant appeal on Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for provision of operational vehicles to beef operations and drugs sensitization in the State.
