National Association of Nigeria Nurses and Midwives in Adamawa State re-elect Chairman and others.

The incumbent chairman National Association of Nigeria Nurses and Midwives in Adamawa State,Comrade Ijabula Joseph Ijaida alongside six other officials has been re-elected as the chairman of the association in another period of four years.

The election was conducted at the end of a two-day quadrennial delegates conference in Yola, the Adamawa State capital.

Thirty nine out of the forty-two delegates cast their online votes in an online voting to elect Comrade Ijabula Joseph Ijaida as chairman and Comrade Mapwavon Joseph as vice chairman and five others ,this gave the constitutional mandate to the returning officer comrade Christian Bawa announce the outcome of the election.

Shortly, the chairman Comrade Ijabula Joseph Ijaida delivered an acceptance speech with a call on administrative and executive Councils of the association to join hands towards building a greater hope for the members.

The chairman of the Nigeria Labour Congress, Comrade Emmanuel Fashe, who was represented by the first vice chairman Comrade Usman Babbada was impressed with the orderliness and unity of delegates in the Nurses Association.

Representative of the National President of the National Association of Nigeria Nurses and Midwives Comrade Shehu Abubakar tasked the members of unity to achieve the struggle for members.

There were Goodwill messages by the leadership of the association from Taraba State and other elders, the elected officials were sworn in office immediately at the end of the conference.
