Most Rev. Stephen Dami Mamza Calls for inmates Welfare in Correctional Centres.

Adamawa State Chairman of Christian Association of Nigeria, Most Reverend Stephen Dami Mamza has called for the welfare of inmates at the various Correctional Centres in the Country.

The Chairman Made the calll during a foundation laying ceremony of a chapel at Medium Security Custodial Centre, Yolde Pate Yola.

The Project if completed would accommodate over two hundred capacity for inmates to conduct their Church Service and Prayers.

In their separate Goodwill messages, Bishop of the Anglican Diocese of Yola, Markus Ibrahim Amfani and Bishop Amos Yakubu all lauded the chairman of Christian Association of Nigeria, in Adamawa State Bishop Stephen Dami Mamza for reaching out to the inmates.

The Catholic Bishop of Yola Diocese who Doubled as the CAN chairman in Adamawa State Most Reverend Stephen Dami Mamza called for support from all un sandry sandry for the project to come to reality.

The Catholic Bishop also called on Government and Philanthropists among others to put the welfare of inmates topmost priority.

In his response, the Assistant Controller Medium Security Custodial Centre, Yolde Pate Yola Usman Musa Gambaki thanked the CAN leadership for reaching to inmates the the centre.

There were Prayers for inmates at the end of the foundation laying ceremony of the chapel of Correctional Centre.
