Medical and Health Workers Union Adamawa Distributes Over Seven Million to Retirees and Next of Kins

The Chairman Medical and Health Workers Union of Nigeria, Adamawa State, Comrade Usman Babbada has disbursed the sum of over seven million Naira to retirees and next of Kins as well as those that change the cadre of the Union.

Comrade Usman Babbada had during the disbursement of the fund urged the beneficiaries for proper management to avoid the current harship at present.

Comrade Usman Babbada had at the disbursement charge beneficiaries to be aware of the current harship in the country, therefore encouraged them for proper management.

According to the Union leader, the money disbursed to them would ease the hardship after retirement before their benefits.

Comrade Babbada Commended Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for markinng three billion Naira for payment of gratuity in Adamawa State.

The Chairman of the Medical and Health Workers Union also called on Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri to introduce the payment of retired workers with Consolidated salary structure in Adamawa state.

Speaking, former Chairmen of the Union Comrade Muhammad Iya, Comrade Jeremiah Ngyakwar and Muhammad Jawali, the National Education Member Commended Comrade Usman Babbada for always considering the plight of members that retirees of the Union.

Beneficiaries on their part Commended Comrade Usman Babbada with a promise for judicious utilisation of the fund disbursed to them for their benefit.

Comrade Usman Babbada pledged to continue with such gesture as part of the contribution of the retirees of the Union while in active service.
