Hong LGA: Residents lament lack of social amenities.

Lack of social amenities such as good roads, potable drinking water, and health care facilities among others have become a major challenge bedeviling the residents of Hildi, an agrarian community in Hong Local Government Area of Adamawa state.

Social amenities are provided by the government to give the citizens a sense of belonging.

However, the story is not the same in Hildi community of Hong Local Government Area which has been bedeviled by a lack of social amenities for a long period of time.

A cross-section of residents in an interview with NAS FM News expressed their ordeals.

Mohammed Sani, a resident of Hildi, while stressing some of their challenges, bewails over the problem of cattle rearers disrupting their farmlands.

He called on the government to come to their aid by providing infrastructural development to the area.

Speaking in the same vein, David Ayuba and Iliyasu Idi decried dilapidated roads in Hildi, which according to them, most of the farmers find it difficult to transport their farm produce back home during this harvest period.

They further called on the attention of politicians and the government to look into their situation.
