Hon Kallamu Winner Of Mayo-Belwa Rerun Election Offcially Joins Adamawa Assembly

The Speaker, Adamawa State House of Assembly, Mr. Bathiya Wesley has sworn in member representing Mayo-Belwa Constituency who emerged victorious at the just concluded re-erun election in the State.

The speaker at the sitting congratulated the member, urging him to work in synergy with the parliament for the progress of people of Adamawa.

The Speaker, Bathiya Wesley after inaugurating the member welcome him to the hallowed Chamber for legislative activities.
He therefore charged him to use his wealth of experience having served as a lawmaker representing Mayo-Belwa Constituency in the past to replicate same in the present Assembly.

In his vote of thanks, the member Musa Mahmud Kallamu expressed delight for joining the assembly to continue with the legislative function for the benefit of Adamawa State.

Mahmud Kallamu has while thanking Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for his support, assured to Bestowed the trust on him.

Member representing Guyuk constituency Mr. Sunday Peter in his remarked expressed confidence with the wealth of experience of the member, having served the Assembly and executive cabinet.

Also at the plenary, a Bill for a law to amend the Adamawa State College of Health Technology law 2018 was pass into law.

The Bill was moved and sponsored by the Majority leader and member representing Demsa Constituency, Mrs. Kate Raymond Mamuno and seconded by Member representing Michika constituency Moses Yerima Zah at the legislative proceedings.
