In an attempt to empower the vulnerable group of the society, the member house of representatives, representing Yola north, Yola south and Girei federal constituency, Abubakar Baba Zango has organized a two day workshop for women on various trades.
Speaking at the closing ceremony of the two day event the workshop resource person, Ali Usman Tanimu expressed satisfaction with the enthusiasm exhibited by the participants who he said have learned a lot.
He urged them not to sell the start up kits they presented.
Ali Tanimu said they judiciously make use of the kits they will certainly conquer poverty.
One hundred and twenty women from the three local government areas benefited from the workshop which at the end they presented grinding machines, sewing machines and fifty thousand naira as start up.
