The Adamawa State Government is firmly dedicated to enacting the suggestions put forth by the joint task force committee on the recovery of government quarters, overseen by its chairman, Engr. John Vandu, with the aim of ensuring transparency and accountability.
The Secretary to the State Government, Barr. Awwal D. Tukur, conveyed this commitment while receiving the committee’s report in his office following the fulfillment of its responsibilities. Barr. Awwal D. Tukur emphasized that the administration led by Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri is steadfast in upholding standards across all levels and revealed that the JTF Committee was established to oversee compliance in public institutions and the owner-occupier scheme.
He lauded the committee for their exemplary work and assured of the government’s readiness to implement their recommendations.
Earlier, committee chairman Engr. John Vandu informed the SSG that they executed their duties impartially and within the set timeframe, despite challenges, expressing gratitude to God for the successful completion of their assignment.
