Her Excellency Hajiya Lami Ahmadu Fintiri extended her condolences to the family of former First Lady Federal Republic of Nigeria Dr. Mrs. Aisha Muhammadu Buhari following the demise of their stepmother, Mama Aishatu Isa Ribadu, at their family compound in Yola Town.
In a statement issued by Bitrus Ishaya Bitrus Ishaya,SSA Media to the First Lady,Adamawa state indicates that Hajiya Lami Fintiri sent a powerful delegation and other prominent figures from the political and social circles of Adamawa State.
The delegation expressed their deepest sympathies to the bereaved family and commiserated with them on their loss.
“Mama Aishatu Isa Ribadu was a respected figure in her community and was known for her kindness, generosity, and strong faith.”
“Her demise was a significant loss not only to her immediate family but also to the larger community in Yola Town and beyond,” Lami said
During the visit, the delegation offered words of comfort and support to the family members, friends, and community.
They also prayed for God’s strength and comfort to sustain them during their mourning period.
Speaking on behalf of the family, Dr. Mahmood Halilu Ahmed mni (Sarki Gabas Adamawa) expressed gratitude to Hajiya Lami Fintiri and the State Government for identifying with them during their time of mourning.
In the same vein, a powerful delegation of the State Government led by SSG Barr. Awwal D. Tukur their also at the family compound to condoled the family.
