Governor Fintiri received American University Academy at the government house Yola

Students of American University of Nigeria Secondary School have visited Governor Umaru Fintiri at the Government House Yola.
The message at the visit was to gain a deeper understanding of the fundamental functions and operations of the three arms of government in Adamawa State.

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri who said the visit is the first of its kind since assumption in office, described as important.
The governor while explaining the operational framework of the three arms of government, intimate the students on the role of executive arm of government that includes implementation, executing policies and budgeting for the overall interest of populace.

Responding to questions asked by the students, governor Fintiri said his administration remains committed to sustain free education by prudent management of the resources in the State.
According to him, since inception in 2019, Adamawa was rated 33rd place in olevel performance, improved 10th in 2022 and presently 2nd behind Abia state.
Governor Fintiri intimated the visitors that teacher’s salary, provision of instructional materials, incentives and favorable teaching environment are some of the achievements recorded under his administration.

Speaking further, the governor said despite operating at separate level, the three arms of government as well the Ministries Departments and Agencies in Adamawa state are functioning to complement good governance in the state.
Earlier, the Vice Principal Administration AUN schools Academy recalled that the school had paid similar visit to the state legislators and interacted with them on their role in governance, noting that such a visit would benefit students in the quest for learning practical aspects.

At the end, Governor Fintiri, called on students not to indulge in drug abuse and other criminal activities.
