Governor Fintiri Grieves the Passing of Mrs. Juliette Gunduri at Age 71

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has extended his heartfelt condolences to his Special Adviser on Works and Energy, Engr. Alvary Gunduri, following the passing of his mother, Mrs. Juliette Wilson Gunduri, who departed this life at the age of seventy-one last Sunday.

During a visit to the Gunduri family residence in Yola town, Governor Fintiri encouraged the bereaved family to see this loss as part of God’s divine plan.

Governor Fintiri shared his profound sorrow upon hearing of Mrs. Gunduri’s passing, noting her death as not only a profound shock but a significant loss to both the Gunduri family and the larger community of Adamawa State.

He appealed to his Special Adviser, the broader family circle, the friends of the deceased, and her colleagues to accept her passing with grace and faith.

On behalf of his family, his cabinet, the governmental body, and the citizens of Adamawa, Governor Fintiri extends his deepest sympathies to Mr. Gunduri over the loss of his cherished mother, Mrs. Juliette.

The Governor remembered Mrs. Gunduri as a pillar of support to her husband, a devoted and loving mother to her children, and a figure of immense support within her community.

He offered prayers for the forgiveness of her sins and for her soul to find eternal peace, asking also for strength and courage for her family during this time of unparalleled loss.

The family has announced that a funeral service for the late Mrs. Juliette Gunduri will be held on the 6th of April, 2024, at 7:30 AM at the EYN Church in Yola town, with the burial to follow at Gashaka Kufam in the Hong Local Government Area.

Special prayers were conducted in memory of Mrs. Gunduri, seeking peace for her soul.
