Governor Fintiri Express Readiness to work with New Brigade Commander for Crime free Adamawa.

Adamawa state Governor Ahmadu Umaru describes the state government as a dedicative partner with the armed forces in terms peace building and assured support to all security agencies in making Adamawa a crime free society.

The Governor made the pronouncement during the introduction of the New Brigade Commander 23 Armoured Brigade by the Out going Commander in his office in Yola.

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri welcomed the new Brigade Commander and urged him to intensify efforts in lowering the crime rate in the state.

The Governor specifically directed him to collaborate with other security agencies to combat kidnappings and various criminal activities in Adamawa.

Governor Fintiri noted particularly that,the New Commander arrived towards end of the year when criminals target people during yuletide therefore expects the Commander to devise means to curtail their plans.

Brigadier General MJ Gambo, the outgoing Brigade Commander, expressed gratitude to Governor Fintiri for the support received during his tenure in Adamawa, and requested the governor to extend the same support to his successor.

Brigadier General Paul Kefas Zawaya, the New Brigade Commander, pledges to exert all efforts in preserving peace and security throughout Adamawa in his address.

Brigadier General Paul Kefas Zawaya hails from Michika Local Government Area of the state.
