Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has advised the federal government to review policies that would address the current situation of the country.
The Governor revealed this to newsmen when he inspected the Mubi roundabout flyover, Obstetrics and Gynaecology Centre, and other on-going projects in Yola.
Governor Ahmadu Fintiri denied claims that the protests were organized by opposition parties, suggesting instead that they might be the work of federal government associates who felt excluded from governance.
The Governor lauded the people of Adamawa state for their peaceful conduct during the protest, attributing it to the trust between the state government and its citizens, encouraging them to continue their daily activities.
Regarding inspected projects, the Governor expressed satisfaction with the quality and progress of the work, urging contractors to speed up to meet deadlines, assuring that payment issues would not hinder project completion.
The projects inspected included the Mubi roundabout flyover, the Obstetrics and Gynaecology centre at the specialist hospital, the stadium, the grade interchange, and the AA Lawal flyover.
