Adamawa State Governor Rt. Honorable Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has on Thursday commissioned the Eco-Recyclers Limited Sangere-Bode.
The Governor said the factory aims and objectives rhymes with his administration eight point’s agenda.

The Governor, while launching the eco-recyclers factory owned the Yola Renewal Foundation in partnership with the Nowegian Agency for Development Cooperation (NORAD), said the establishment of the factory in Yola would help in reducing the number of unemployment in the state
The Governor, further reiterate the ban on cutting down trees with the sole aim of providing charcoal saying its affect the environment negatively thereby causing more floods.
Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintri hinted that the unity in diversity provides development to all hence the need for people of the state to tolerate one another.
The number one citizen of the state called on other organizations to emulate the gesture.
Speaking earlier, the country Director Tearfund Nigeria office, Mr. Joseph Aloo, while delivering his keynote address expressed gratitude to the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (NORAD), for the generous financial support for the project.
The Country Director further hinted that the project is implemented through their national partner the Yola Renewal Foundation in the five project communities in Yola North.
The Country Director, reveals that the project has two components, saying a global advocacy on reduction of plastic pollution and establishment of a social enterprise aims at establishing a recycling hub that will recycle plastic waste, create jobs for youths and provide incomes for households.
Speaking in the same vein, the Commissioner Ministry of environment, Hon. Muhammed Sadiq, congratulate Yola Renewal Foundation and Tearfund for the successful launching of Eco-recycling factory, adding that the organization would get more trashes as the turn it to cash considering the fact that the state governor had introduced monthly sanitation across the state.
On her part, the Executive Director, Yola Renewal Foundation, Mrs. Mary Daniel Garba expressed hope that the organization in no distant time would become the envy of all.
It could be recall that Yola Renewal Foundation was established in 2021 in partnership with Tearfund and the Nowegian Agency for Development Cooperation (NORAD) with the sole aim of reducing plastics and plastic pollution and to also recycle them for other products for human use.
