Adamawa State Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has been honoured with the prestigious Infrastructure Development Award for the second time, reinforcing his status as one of Nigeria’s top-performing governors in infrastructure development.
The award was presented by Vice President Kassim Shettima on behalf of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. It acknowledges Governor Fintiri’s remarkable achievements in various critical sectors, including roads, bridges, healthcare, education, and water supply.
In his commendation, President Tinubu lauded the awardees, stating that Democracy has come to stay in Nigeria, and with the calibre of recipients, there’s hope for the future.
He emphasized the significant impact of infrastructure development on the nation’s growth and prosperity.
Governor Fintiri, alongside other distinguished governors, received this accolade, which reaffirms his commitment to advancing infrastructure in Adamawa State.
This award further cements his reputation as a dedicated leader and a champion of infrastructure development in Nigeria.
Accompanied by top government officials, royal fathers, friends, and associates, Governor Fintiri travelled to Abuja to accept the award.
