Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State has praised the judiciary for upholding justice in the appeal brought by the All Progressives Congress candidate in the 2023 Governorship election, emphasizing its alignment with the people’s will.
In a statement through his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Humwashi Wonosikou, Governor Fintiri hailed the judgment as a triumph for the rule of law and a testament to the endurance of democracy in Nigeria.
He called for unity among parties and a collective focus on the state’s development. The Governor affirmed that the victory echoes the desires expressed by the Adamawa people in the recent election, expressing gratitude for ongoing support and attributing the success to God and the people.
Fintiri also lauded the meticulous examination of allegations by both the Tribunal and the Court of Appeal in reaching their decision
