Adamawa State Planning Commission inspects Projects, commends Governor Fintiri.

As the Adamawa state government continues to execute various projects across the state, people have been urged to ensure the effective protection of the projects.

The Executive Chairman, State Planning Commission Dr. Mary Paninga made the call while monitoring some projects being executed by the present administration in Yola North,Girei and Fufore local government areas.

Dr. Mary Paninga said the monitoring exercise was aimed at ensuring that the contractors are working according to the contractual agreement.

The Executive Chairman, who said that the exercise was also meant to ensure that the immediate communities are giving the necessary support to the government and the contractors, for the successful completion of the infrastructural projects, implored the communities to protect the projects in order to last long.

Dr. Paninga added that her dedication to effective project management signifies the government’s commitment to transparency and accountability in the execution of the initiatives.

On his part, the Special Adviser to the Governor on monitoring and Evaluation, Augustine James, said the projects demonstrated the Governor’s love for the people of Adamawa, and urged the citizens of the state to continue to support the Fintiri’s led administration, for more developmental projects.

The projects inspected by Dr. Mary Paninga and her team are GSS Fufore, Mubi Roundabout flyover, Jimeta bypass road, a superhighway, and Chigari cattle market.

Others include Fufore Cottage Hospital, Malkohi Housing Estate, and a Stormwater drainage behind shopping complex, among others.
