Federal University Of Agriculture Mubi To Commence Activities

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri welcomed the newly appointed leadership of the Federal University of Agriculture Mubi, including Vice Chancellor Professor Bitrus Tarfa, the Registrar, and the Bursar, at the Government House in Yola.

During this visit, Vice Chancellor Tarfa updated Governor Fintiri on the university’s initial stages of operation.

Governor Fintiri took this opportunity to encourage local citizens to combine their efforts and determination to continue the state’s development.

It’s worth noting that President Bola Tinubu has recently sanctioned the establishment of the Federal University of Agriculture in Mubi, Adamawa State.

Adamawa stakeholders have emphasized the importance of situating the North East’s first University of Agriculture in Mubi. They argue that it’s crucial for tapping into the region’s extensive agricultural capabilities, taking advantage of Adamawa state’s agricultural expertise.
